I think the point of life is to break you down so bad that nothing can so much as phase you. The military figured that out a long time ago. Hazing makes sense now. It’s just a life course - super condensed and extra difficult.
I live in an imaginary utopia, where everyone I like surely knows and likes me too. I fall in love often, but transiently. I fail what I love the most, and love what I fail the most. I love word plays, and cheesy sentence structure. I am prone to a cycle of devastation, and yet somehow I am resilient. I am polar opposites fighting for the crown, and this is their battlefield.

Those same angles,
the same glances.
I can breathe now,
for the first time.
It’s over
Finally
Who needs yoga
My eyes are no longer afraid to see.
It’s not expected
They said it would be different
Confusion, anger, jealousy?
More like sigh.
Is that what I’ve been waiting for
All this time,
a green light
to get on with my life?
I AM EVER SO MUCH CLOSER TO YOU, Ireland/ new apartment/ Haircut/ new face/ Vancouver/ Gatineau (if it’s all it amounts to) but isn’t money just wonderful!
Today, I was supposed to do three lectures, go for a run, shower and fix my face and nails. Instead, I’ve eaten Chinese food for breakfast, gulped down a creamsickle, and watched an episode of New Girl.
COUCHSURFING.
I’ve never tried it, heard of it or know much about it really. Wondering what the sketch-factor is usually like.
I’ve only got two out of my god-knows-how-many friends on Facebook who have used it. SO, what’s this all about?
